In these terms and conditions, the “Shop” will mean Guide Shop and the “Customer” will mean any person, firm, group, company or body that places an order with the Shop via this online shopping system. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the site. By using the site or any part of it, you agree that you have read these terms and conditions and that you accept and agree to be bound by them.

The Shop is happy for you to browse this website and download and / or print anything that may interest you. However, your access to this website and the information and material contained on it does not give you a license (or any other) to reproduce, print or distribute or otherwise use such information or material for your own personal use.

 

General:

There is no minimum amount per order via the online shop.

The labeled price is net price and does not include delivery charge, handling charge and bank charge.

The Shop shall make every effort to ensure that prices, details and sizes of products on this website are up to date. Prices are subject to change without prior notice and all orders are subject to Shop’s acceptance at its sole discretion and stock availability.

The Shop shall make every effort to ensure products displayed on the website are in stock. If from time to time products become out of stock, the Shop reserves the right to accept the order from the Customer.

All orders are subject to confirmation of final availability and the Shop reserves the right to reject the order in the event that any of the products or services requested is unavailable. In the event that we are unable to fulfill any of the products or services in your order, we will notify you by phone or email before delivery.

The Shop shall make every effort to ensure product displayed and its description is precise on the website, however, we cannot guarantee the product picture and / or description is fully matched with the actual product.

 

Registration:

Customer is required to register before placing any order through this website. During the registration:

1. You must provide us with accurate, complete and up to date registration information;
2. You must safeguard your username and password;
3. You authorized us to assume that any person using the site with your username and password is either you or is authorized to act for you.

The Shop has the absolute discretion to refuse registration of a potential customer and to terminate the registration of any customer for any reason whatsoever.

You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided.

 

Replacement Policy:

It is the Customer’s responsibility to check the condition of any product received at the time of delivery.

Replacement is feasible only when valid original receipt is provided in valid period of time.

Delivery Service:

Customer can choose the shipping option that works best for you:

1. Customer is not required to pay any delivery charge when choosing self pick-up.
2. For courier delivery service (for group purchase only) / postal service, the cost depends on your selected shipping option and the destination.

 

About Laws of Hong Kong Law, Hong Kong Girl Guides Association Ordinance and statement:

According to Laws of Hong Kong, Chapter 1020, section 3, 4, 5 & 6, all Hong Kong Girl Guides badges, token or emblem are belongs to the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association. Without authorization, possession of the badges, token or emblem commits an offence and is liable to a fine of $5,000.

 

Force Majeure:

The Shop shall not be liable for any delay or failure in its performance caused by or resulting from acts of God, fire, flood, accident, riot, war, government intervention, embargoes, strike, labour difficulties, equipment failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Shop.

 

Governing Law:

The terms and conditions, together with all our policies and procedures, are governed by and construed in accordance with Hong Kong SAR law. The relevant courts of Hong Kong SAR will have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute or claim associated with these TOS.

You irrevocably agree that the courts of the HKSAR shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim or dispute arising out of or in connection with the Terms of Use or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof.

The Shop may revise these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. If any dispute arises, determination by the Shop shall be final.
